Big Guy Garage Doors provides garage door service and maintenance for Fairfield County homeowners. The business is veteran-owned and based in New Canaan.

## Maintenance work

- Lubrication of moving parts as appropriate for the system.
- Safety inspections of the door and operating components.
- Professional assessment and adjustment of springs and cables where required.
- Testing and tuning of garage door openers.

Tell the business about squeaking, shaking, uneven movement, or changes in how the door opens and closes. A broken spring, damaged cable or off-track door should be assessed as a repair issue rather than waiting for a routine maintenance appointment.

## Preparing and scheduling

Have the opener model, door information and service records available if you have them. Clear the work area and mention remote or keypad problems. Ask about a maintenance schedule appropriate for the door's use and the manufacturer's instructions. Do not attempt spring or cable adjustments yourself.
